The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is a joint program of the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME).Target USMLE has no affiliation with ECFMG, NRMP, ERAS. None of the trademark holders are affiliated with TARGET USMLE


Your registration, activation, purchase, enrollment in and use of products, services and events offered by Target USMLE LLC, including your access to www.targetusmle.com, and respective subdomains and Target USMLE mobile apps, are subject to these terms and conditions. If You purchase or enroll in a Program for use by another (for example, a parent purchasing for a child, a friend purchasing for a friend) these Terms govern both You and other(s) who use any Program you purchase. You agree to be bound by the Terms, which is an agreement between Target USMLE and You upon purchase of any product from Target USMLE.

 

Program Fees: You agree to make full payment for Programs in the amount(s) listed on the website, the Order Confirmation email you will receive, or as communicated by support@targetusmle.com representatives during registration. The sessions for tutoring should be set up on the same day as registration for the course. You must complete payment prior to commencing the Program.

 

Programs: Purchasers of our Online Personal Coaching (RRC/CCC) and CS Study Partner Program must adhere to the following:

 

Any purchaser enrolled in Rapid Review Course (RRC) must have one to two classes scheduled per week to be completed in two weeks from the date of enrollment or in case of special circumstances arranged with the staff to agree to a mutually convenient schedule at the start of the course on the day of enrollment.

 

Any purchaser enrolled in Complete Comprehensive Course (CCC) must have two classes scheduled per week to be completed within three weeks of enrollment or in case of special circumstances arranged with the staff to agree to a mutually convenient schedule at the start of the course on the day of enrollment.

 

Any purchaser enrolled in CS Study Partner Program must have three to four classes scheduled per week to be completed within 3 weeks for 10 hrs practice and 4-6 weeks of enrollment 20 hrs session from the day of registration. Beyond this period it will not be rescheduled and the remaining session will be cancelled unless it is pre arranged at the start of the course with the Target USMLE in writing. Target USMLE and you will to agree to a mutually convenient schedule at the start of the course on the day of enrollment. It is the responsibility of the student to schedule all class within the time period mentioned above. Target USMLE staff will not be contacting students for scheduling the classes but are willing to coordinate scheduling classes between the tutors and students.

 

Any purchaser for the Online video tutorials (Step 1 to Step 6) or the e CS handbook are given limited access according to their purchased product. Under no condition will the access be extended unless you have a written consent from Target USMLE via email that you are allowed to activate it at a later date within the same calendar year. Once access is given it is upto the student to login and view the study material and Target USMLE will not be responsible for a refund /extension of the videos in case the student has not utilized the program during the access period.

 

Unless if there is an emergency situation (proof to be produced), if the student does not show up for a scheduled class without informing in writing 24 hrs earlier by email, the class will stand cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

 

If Purchaser goes over the allotted time of course duration for RRC, CCC and CS Study Partner Program additional fees may apply.

Refunds: Refunds are not available once a Course/Program is purchased or is in session or has ended. Changes to a course/program can be made if purchaser decides to upgrade and need to consult with Target USMLE staff within 24 hours to get consensus before doing so. Prices are subject to change at any time.

 

All sales are final. No refund is issued after purchase or cancellation anytime after enrollment in a course/program. The contents are designed only for passing USMLE step 2 CS and not for medical practice on patients. Your computer and internet connection needs to meet the minimum requirements for optimal viewing of videos. Target USMLE is not responsible for any unprecedented event of technical issues such as the webserver issues and inability of the student to view content temporarily in such circumstances. All contents are copyrighted by Target USMLE. Any violation by attempting to copy or share passwords, multiple login from different IP address will be blocked permanently at the discretion of Target USMLE. Taking Target USMLE courses or using our study materials can immensely help but does a guarantee a pass on the step 2 CS exam as it depends on individual students aptitude and performance on exam day. Target USMLE tutors have the right to decide not to proceed with the classes in the event of students misbehavior or disrespectful conduct during class sessions online or live.

 

Intellectual Property: All Programs, including Sites and Apps, are owned by Target USMLE LLC. Programs are for your personal and non-commercial use only. You may not enroll in or use any Program for the benefit of any competitor of Target USMLE. Programs may not be shared, re-sold, reproduced, re-published, modified, transferred or distributed in any way without Target USMLE’s prior written permission. All books, video, audio, text, questions, explanations, diagrams, images, animations and other content that You receive or to which You have access during your Program, regardless of medium or format, (collectively, “Program Content”), are protected by copyright law and belong to Target USMLE and its licensors. You may not download, record, screenshot, copy or reproduce Program Content in any way. You may not make any audio and/or video recording of a class or any part of your Program. You may not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, scrape or data mine Programs. The trademarks, service marks, designs, and logos displayed in Programs are the registered and unregistered trademarks of Target USMLE may not be used without Target USMLE’s prior, written permission.

 

Programs may include digital access to Program Content. Subject to your compliance with these terms and conditions, Target USMLE grants You a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable license to access Program Content during the access period of your Program.

 

Passwords: When You set up a Target USMLE account, You must choose a password. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for any and all use of your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. Target USMLE has the right to terminate your account for any reason at our sole discretion without notice to You.

 

Mobile Devices, Phone Calls and SMS: If You provide Target USMLE with a telephone number, such as when You purchase, enroll in or use a Target USMLE Program, You agree that Target USMLE may contact You about your Program and about other Programs and opportunities by telephone and/or text message utilizing automated technology at such telephone number(s). You understand that this consent is not required to purchase goods or services from Target USMLE. Programs may offer Content and features that are available via a mobile device. Standard messaging, data and other fees may be charged by your carrier. Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain mobile features and certain mobile features may be incompatible with your carrier or mobile device. Contact your carrier with questions regarding these issues.

 

Class Schedule and Location Changes: Class schedules and locations of Programs are subject to change and/or cancellation. Target USMLE will notify You of any changes or cancellations.

 

Program Changes: Target USMLE frequently updates, revised and modified Programs, including Program Content, features and services (“Program Changes”). Target USMLE reserves the right to make changes to Program Changes at any time, subject to such changes not materially degrading the Program.

 

Technical Requirements: You will be responsible for meeting and maintaining the minimum technical requirements for your selected purchase in order to access certain features of your Program. Access to Programs may require internet access with standard speeds, for which Target USMLE is not responsible.

 

Student Code of Conduct: Target USMLE may remove from Programs students whom Target USMLE deems at its discretion to be disruptive to the learning environment, dangerous to other students or faculty, have acted in a manner that shows lack of dignity and respect for faculty and/or students, violated any intellectual property rights of Target USMLE or others, or have engaged in academic misconduct, such as cheating or violating confidentiality. Students removed from Programs for violations of the Code of Conduct are not eligible for refunds.

 

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability: PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND TARGET USMLE DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL TARGET USMLE BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF TARGET USMLE HAS BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL TARGET USMLE’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU FOR YOUR PROGRAM.

 

Arbitration and Class/Collective Action Waiver Any and all disputes arising from or related to this Agreement, including whether the dispute is arbitrable and the scope of this arbitration agreement, shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by a single arbitrator under the then-applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association (as modified herein) in accordance with the Federal Arbitration Act. The arbitration shall be governed by and construed by federal law to the fullest extent possible. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the arbitration shall take place in the largest U.S. city within 100 miles of your permanent residence. If You reside outside the United States, then the arbitration shall take place in accordance with the American Arbitration Association Consumer Rules and Protocol. Judgment on the arbitral award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, should You wish to initiate a legal action against Target USMLE in arbitration, You waive any right or ability to be a class or collective action representative or to otherwise participate in any putative or certified class, collective or multi-party action or proceeding based on such a claim in which Target USMLE or a related entity is a party. The same applies to Target USMLE's legal actions against You. Thus, You and Target USMLE agree that each may bring claims in arbitration against the other only in your or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class. Further, unless both You and Target USMLE agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over a representative or class proceeding.

 

Export: Software related to or made available by the Program may be subject to United States export controls. Thus, no software from the Program may be downloaded, exported or re-exported.

 

Tax: Purchases may be subject to taxes in many states. Tax rates are different from state to state. You are responsible for paying all such taxes.

 

Consent and Release

 

• During your Program, Target USMLE may contact You for feedback related to your Program, You may be photographed or your class recorded (collectively referred to as "Student Experience Materials"). You agree that Target USMLE may use the Student Experience Materials for internal purposes or with your consent use for advertising.

 

• Programs or other activities may occur in hotels, schools and other facilities not controlled by Target USMLE ("Third Party Facilities"). You waive any claim against Target USMLE arising from your (or your child's) use of Third Party Facilities, including claims related to the safety and security of third party facilities.

   

Miscellaneous: These Terms supersede all prior oral or written agreements and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Terms cannot be changed or modified orally. Target USMLE reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. If any provision of Terms is found to be unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be construed by limiting it to make it enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remainder of Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
